Congratulations to all the ASK athletes that competed at the 2016 Junior International and US Open Championship this past weekend in Las Vegas. We had an exceptional representation of our Association at these two international tournaments. There was even some new hardware to show off including a gold medal, a bronze medal and a silver medal in team kata. Our athletes made us proud during exciting matches in the medal rounds!
We would like to thank Helen for organizing the team and our coaches, Sensei Chris and Sensei Kristie for all their hard work.
Next event coming up is the 2016 Calgary Open Shotokan Cup April 16, 2016. We look forward seeing all of our members there.
